3. Categories of data and purposes of processing

We only collect the information relevant to the service, the business relationship, security and the applicable legal requirements.

  • Identification and communication: surname, first name, address, contact details, date of birth where necessary, content of requests, correspondence, supporting documents and powers of attorney.
  • Insurance and pensions: contracts, policies, premiums, claims, cover requested, household composition, professional and financial situation; where applicable, health data strictly necessary for underwriting or case management, with the required safeguards.
  • Financing and real estate: income, expenses, assets, debts, bank documents, information on properties, valuations and mortgage applications.
  • Taxation and administration: tax returns, proof of income and wealth, family and financial information, accounting documents and data essential to the mandate.
  • Websites and digital services: IP address, technical logs, session identifiers, browsing settings, data entered in forms, downloads, client accounts and exchanges carried out in secure areas.

This data is processed to answer your requests, propose suitable offers, prepare and perform mandates, draw up comparisons, forward files to the partners chosen, manage invoicing and accounting, prevent fraud, protect systems and comply with legal obligations.

We may also send you news, invitations or newsletters under the applicable conditions, in particular after registration where required. You must be able to unsubscribe at any time.

4. Source of the data

We obtain data mainly directly from you: forms, contacts, appointments, questionnaires, uploads and the client area.

Where necessary and permitted, data may also come from insurance companies, banks, pension institutions, public administrations, public registers, professional partners, employers, representatives or other third parties involved in your file.

5. Recipients and disclosure to third parties

Depending on the nature of the mandate, we may disclose the necessary data to the following categories:

  • insurance companies, pension institutions, banks, credit institutions, brokers and other partners approached to obtain an offer or perform a mandate;
  • fiduciaries, property valuers, notaries, lawyers, consultants and other professionals appointed or needed for the file;
  • IT providers, hosting providers, messaging platforms, secure storage, customer relationship management, forms and technical services;
  • public authorities, courts and supervisory bodies where the law requires or permits it.

Disclosures are limited to what is necessary. Recipients acting on their own account remain responsible for their processing. We do not sell our clients’ data to data brokers.

6. Hosting and transfers abroad

Technical hosting provider: Kreativmedia GmbH. Technical contact: Onebiz Solutions Sàrl, Chemin des Terrasses 5, 1820 Territet-Montreux, Switzerland.

Data may be hosted or accessible in Switzerland or abroad, in particular where digital providers or their subcontractors are established outside Switzerland. The countries concerned depend on the providers and features actually activated.

In the event of a transfer to a country without protection recognised as adequate, we take the legally required measures, for example appropriate contractual safeguards, or we rely on an exception provided for by the FADP.

7. Your rights

Within the limits provided by the applicable legislation, you may ask whether data concerning you is being processed, obtain access to it, request the correction of inaccurate data, request its deletion or object to certain processing. In some cases, you may request that data be delivered in a common electronic format or transmitted to a third party.

To exercise your rights, contact us as indicated in section 2. We may ask for information to verify your identity. Legal retention obligations or the rights of third parties may limit certain requests.

8. Cookies, forms and digital tools

Our websites may use cookies necessary for operation, security, preferences and, depending on their configuration, audience measurement or external services such as maps, videos, translation and communication modules.

You can manage cookies in your browser and, where a consent module is present, express or change your choices for the optional categories there. Non-essential services requiring consent must not be activated before the required choice is made.

Forms may include anti-spam checks and attachments. The information sent is used to process the corresponding request. For newsletters and ebooks, we use in particular the surname, first name and email address to manage registration, confirmation and the sending of the requested link.

Client areas use authentication and access management mechanisms. It is your responsibility to protect your login credentials. Integrated third-party services may apply their own privacy statements.

9. Security, retention and additional obligations

We implement technical and organisational measures appropriate to the nature of the data: access control, account protection, backups and secure exchanges, according to the relevant means and risks. No system guarantees absolute security.

We keep data for as long as necessary for the management of services, legal and contractual obligations and the defence of rights. When keeping it is no longer justified, we delete or anonymise it within technical and legal limits.

If the European GDPR applies to a particular processing operation, the corresponding rights and obligations are added to those of the FADP, with the legal bases applicable to the case concerned. This statement does not mean that the GDPR applies to all our activities.

Some information is essential to provide the service requested. If it is not provided, we may be unable to process the request or conclude the mandate.
